Terms of Service

Product photos and descriptions are there to help you choose. Colour and size can look slightly different in person. You can check out as a guest or with an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for the information you enter at checkout.

Prices on product pages exclude GST. GST is added in the cart and at checkout, and the total including GST is shown before you pay. Shipping is charged separately. A discount code, when it is valid, comes off the merchandise and GST, not off shipping.

Stock can change. If an item is unavailable after you order, or a price was clearly wrong, we will tell you and cancel that part of the order. An online payment for a cancelled order is refunded as described below.

Shipping is ₹100.00 on orders under ₹999.00 before GST, and free at or above that amount. Delivery times on the site are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you when the courier marks the parcel delivered to the address you gave us.

You can pay online through PayU, or choose cash on delivery where that option is offered. An online order is confirmed when PayU confirms the payment. A cash-on-delivery order is confirmed when we accept it. We can refuse an order that looks fraudulent or that we cannot fulfil.

Codes are optional and may expire, have a use limit, or be limited to one use for each signed-in customer. A code has no cash value. We can withdraw a code that was issued in error.

While an order is placed or packed, you can request cancellation from your account. We review the request. After we cancel an order paid online, the refund goes back through PayU to the original method. Cash on delivery is not charged online, so there is no online refund for those orders. Once an order has shipped, use the returns process below.

You can ask for a return within 30 days of delivery. The item should be unused, with tags and packaging, unless it arrived damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered. Opened food and opened personal-care items can be returned only when they are faulty or not as described.

Write to hi@urbansansaar.com with your order reference. If we accept the return, we will tell you how to send it back. After we receive and check the item, an online refund goes to the original payment method. Cash-on-delivery refunds are arranged with you by email or phone.

Tax invoices are issued in the name and address on the order. Our GSTIN is 09BIQPA6225G1Z8. Our FSSAI licence number is 22726746000273. Contact hi@urbansansaar.com if you need a copy.

You may use the site to shop for yourself. You may not copy the catalogue for another store, interfere with checkout, or try to access another customer’s account. Product names, photos, and the Urban Sansaar name belong to us or to the brands we sell.

We are responsible for fulfilling the order you paid for. Where the law allows it, our liability for a claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
